Overextended

As I am the blog keeper, I'm afraid you get to hear my point of view only. And right now, I am feeling overextended. Between school, specifically a big test I spent the first part of last week studying for, Young Women's, which consists of several meetings, Mutual on Wednesday nights (We danced this week!), preparing my lesson for next Sunday, having two little babies at home that need lots of extra love and attention (Rhyla getting her teeth in, and Vash adapting to having his cast off, since Thursday), supporting Craig in his calling and schooling, which means getting along without him a lot of the time, swim lessons, and a variety of other miscellaneous things that need to be done, I am feeling a little overwhelmed.(Kristen, how do you do it??????) Part of it is that it's Craig's last semester of his Senior year and he has a  lot of projects to complete and certifications to study for. Another part is that I'm doing very well in my class, but I have to put a lot of time into it to do as well as I'm doing. I love my calling in Young Women's but there is a lot of schedule changing to make it all work. I'm surprised this week was so busy because a few of our normal things got cancelled. Our weekly play date, Craig's Tuesday night meeting, to name a few. I did make it a little harder on myself though by inviting our friends over for dinner last night. I knit them a baby hat in two days because they're expecting in May and I didn't know when else to get it done. Then I also made the dinner. LOL. But they brought over really great pizzookie so, it was worth it. Plus I got the brilliant idea to make Vash and Rhyla matching Easter outfits. I got Rhyla's dress started and just knew it was going to drive me nuts, so I took it and the kids to my Grandma's today and she helped me to get straightened out. After the kids freaked out from being over tired and Rhyla mashing her finger in the door, she suggested I just leave the stuff there and come back on Wednesday to help finish up. I'm glad that the material is in good hands. I KNOW it will get done on time now. The last thing making this week busy is just all the prep work for our Disney trip. I know a lot of people like to just show up places for vacation and wing the whole thing, but with two little kids and a long trip, it makes more sense to me to do your research and make the most of your time and money. So, I've been working on an itinerary to help us evade crowds and reduce back tracking. It includes show times, (which I had to redo because they changed the schedule last minute), and I've been looking up the weather predictions so I know what to pack. So far, they say it's gonna rain... :(  I'm still excited but I hope we don't get rained out.

About the kids: Rhyla is saying Hi! now and waves to anyone who passes by. She eats anything and everything and lots of it. Love those chubby cheeks. She's a tease and will hide Vash's Tuku just to get a reaction out of him. In cased you missed it, Vash has his cast off and hardly limps at all. He's getting really good at drawing these cute monster looking things and he is growing ever more interested in the piano. Vash and Rhyla will hold hands and walk like little duckies in a line now. So cute... I'll get more pictures next week I promise.
