Preparing for the BIG DAY!

We've spent most of this week getting ready for our BIG DAY! That's right. Disneyland is so close I can almost taste it! We spent Monday and Wednesday morning at Grandma's working on Easter outfits for the kids. (OK, not related to the trip but it needed to be done.) I spent most of the rest of Monday washing clothes so that we'd have plenty to pick from for packing and also prepared my lesson for Sunday. I spent all of Tuesday doing the actual packing. (It takes all day to pack for three people! Craig packs for himself.) Wednesday evening I got my hair changed, (Pictures below) and Rhyla got her hair trimmed. Craig gave himself and Vash haircuts too, so we could all look our best at the Happiest Place on Earth. Then Wednesday night I had a YW meeting because Mutual was cancelled for spring break. Thursday after our weekly play date, Grandma called with the good news that she had finished the Easter outfits! We were so excited that we went and picked them up once Craig got home from work. (They're amazing!) Friday Craig also worked and the kids and I cleaned the house and played like fiends. That night Craig's sister and her family got into town so we all went out to dinner at Tom's BBQ. Vash was upset that he couldn't ride the tractor they had parked in the dining area, and even the presence of his Cousin-Brothers couldn't cheer him up. Then today we had our swim lessons, (Vash was complimented on being super advanced for his age and Rhyla splashed and kicked so hard she fell asleep!) And tonight we had a BBQ at Nana and Papa's with the whole family.
 Loving on Perry.
Tired because he woke up to early.

Vash helping vacuum and Rhyla supervising.

 Playing outside for HOURS.
Not sure which toy to pick.

Helping pack. All set to go!

Our BBQ party. Vash is tackling Nate. He jumped on him so hard so Nate farted! It might be immature, but it's hilarious.

Rhyla tried to wear Nana's purse. It was too heavy.

Nana gave Vash pennies for the M&M machine and he cried when Craig told him it was time to go before he'd used them all.
And finally, My blonde hair is now...
Brown with a purple streak! Everyone has deemed it too cute or way adorable. The only complaint I had was from Allie, who said I should have put MORE purple in. LOL.
P.S. I'm holding the purple streak!
