Tired Babies

For some inexplicable reason, no one in our house is getting much sleep these days. Poor Rhyla is working on getting her molars in and is waking up frequently throughout the night, wanting to be held. Vash, for whatever reason, is going to bed later and later and waking up earlier and earlier. This means little rest for Craig who helps with the babies at night, and even less sleep for me, who has nightmares ALL THE STINKIN TIME and doesn't rest well, even when uninterrupted. So we've been slumping around this week. Barely making our friends trip out here for our play date worth it. Hardly staying awake long enough for homework, and dozing off during the young women's dance rehearsals. We did alright in church though. We were either chasing babies or teaching, so no sleeping there! LOL. Craig and I did manage to make it to the temple twice this week though, and even had a date night to the movies on Friday. (Picked an awful movie on accident and think I will be scarred for life by it, though.) Vash started potty training last week and has done really well. Candy is a great motivator for keeping his pants dry. Although, Jen had him watching Ghostbusters while we were out and I guess he wet himself then. Was it fear? Or just so engrossed that he forgot to ask to use the potty? We'll never know. Rhyla learned a few new words this week. She makes the elephant noise, a muffled train sound, says "thishy" (fishy) and says "Be Boo" as "I love you". So cute.

Snuggled on the couch at 5:45am after Vash woke her up by turning on the aquarium in her crib.

Watching a movie, while I stagger around to get breakfast for the babies before Mr. Sun is even up.

Vash put on the gloves and said he was going to clean Craig's grill.

Rhyla has turned into a camel! She drinks bottle after bottle of milk and juice and powerade. She literally soaks her diapers so full that we have to change her outfit several times a day! No joke. She drank an adult size powerade in about 5 minutes, then soaked herself so completely that her pants were soaking wet, her diaper was dripping, and the floor around her was soggy! And she had been dry when I gave her the drink!

I dropped off gifts to a double baby shower this weekend, but not before Rhyla got a look at the gifts for the babies. ( A cupcake rattle and a shaker jewels that hang on a car seat.) She really wanted them but I had to pack them into the gift bags and hall them away. So to make up for it, I got out her tea set that she received the Christmas before she was born. Much to my dismay, Vash has claimed it as his own and hardly let's Rhyla touch it! Although, he does cook "chocolate soup" and serve it to anyone who will play with him. And he packs the set up in one of my old purses and brings it along when we leave so other people can enjoy his cooking.

Up late with a sore mouth. Loving her some Daddy.
