February Recap

February was another cold month, but we're pros at indoor fun now, so we made it through without too many meltdowns.

Peanut loves trying to take the phone from me. I distract him by taking pictures.

Brothers sharing a drink.

He's actually thrilled to see Daddy but not so thrilled to be held when he wants down. We were out to lunch while the biggins were at preschool.

My pretty girl.

Daddy Snuggles before dance class.

This little girl never fails to pose.

I mean, really. Look at that cutie pie!

We took a trip to the children's science museum. Yes, Craig is kissing a bear.

Dino bones. Rhyla was reminded of how terrifying the dino ride at Disney World was.

Fischer was determined to get in there, but alas.

Digging for bones!

But the Fisch was too little so he snuggled Mama instead.

He loves any thing with fur. The glass was separating him from these Zebras was just the worse thing ever.

Another day we went to the Chuck.

Who doesn't like pizza and games?

Other days we went to visit Me-ma and Pe-pa for brunch and television.

Fischer loves making doggy sounds. "Woof woof!"

He's also getting to be a dare devil. At least, he seems to feel brave when he does this, lol.

Fischer and I tried out the White Rabbit Cafe one day while the biggins were in preschool. Horchata and ginger cookies are the best! (Plus meeting up with Amberly and her kiddos makes everything better.)

Of course Valentine's Day is always a hit around here. Free candy and love? Count us in!

My warrior.

"You can't see me, Mom."

Daddy got Rhyla and the boys some flowers for the occasion.

Vash loved his but Fischer wasn't gentle enough to keep his on.

"Is it bath time yet?"

This little guy found the lid to an ice cream carton and this was what followed.

Grrrrr!

My V-Day flowers.

Empty boxes make for great indoor gyms.

Of course, we did venture out in the snow if it looked like good snow man snow. (It never was quite right.)

Ring around the rosey!

This boy loves his medals. Season well played, Bud!

The Team.

"I'm not too big for lap sitting!"

When we're lucky enough to have Daddy home, he takes us to do fun things. This was the science museum.

Water tables were a hit.

So excited to turn the crank.

They had to turn a while before they sucked up enough water to work properly.

Daddy's helper.

This actually full of sand but the projections made it look like valleys and hills with water, and depending on how you moved the sand around, it adapted.

Fisch with the fish.

He seemed to like the crawl through tunnel the best.

After watching some Star Wars, the kids were so excited to meet R2D2 and C3P0, who didn't make it into this picture.

So, February was great. I'm super blessed to be able to take my kids on fun trips and be a full time mommy. And despite knowing how to have fun in the snow, I'd be lying if I said I weren't glad that it has finally warmed up!
Until next time.
