Sorry I got behind again. Believe me; I'm more upset than you are. This is my life I'm forgetting to document! So now, you get two weeks in pictures.
Craig's been home for a week, which is nice because he was gone for almost a full month. So we took the kids to the mall for a few train rides.
Though they waited anxiously for the train, Vash insists he had no fun.
My goofy kids. I caught Rhyla singing the bubble song to herself early one morning. One night I heard her saying, "Go to bed mermaid," to her Ariel doll.
Vash has starting saying I'm his favorite mommy! And daddy's his favorite daddy and Rhyla's his favorite Rhyla. So cute.
I call this face the Bear Attack. Rhyla and Vash have also been trying to learn to play the "cups" song from Pitch Perfect. They love it when I sing it, and want to emulate it. I'll get a video sometime.
Craig's been working on the cars lately, which means we've started taking a lot of trips to Sears for tools. The kids love playing in the big dog houses.
Took a trip to the Chuck for playing and pizza one night. Rhyla loves the rides.
BTW; Craig shaved his beard this week and when Vash saw it, he says, "Oh no, we need a new Daddy!"
Playing whack-a-duck together.
If this picture was a meme, the caption would read: Take me from my daddy and I will cut you!
LOL
The other night Rhyla was upstairs crying and she was supposed to be in bed. I went up to check on her and found her stark naked, sitting on her chair. I asked, "Rhyla, where are your clothes?"
She says, "I don't know. But Cinderella can't dance."
I laughed so hard I almost cried.
These two are the best of friends now. I'm so glad that they love each other and like to play. It's a little like a reverse Romeo and Juliet scene going on here.
Rhyla is wearing the top of a sand bucket pail that looks like a zebra head. It would make an awfully cute hat on her.
The kids got to ride bikes at Dick's Sporting Goods too. Vash was bummed that they didn't have a Mickey or Spiderman bike.
They're hams in front of the camera.
Rhyla did her own hair the other day and insisted I take a picture to show Craig. She walked downstairs, calling for him, and saying, "Look at my hairs!"
Vash is becoming a super sneak. The other day, when he was supposed to be napping, he found Craig's kindle fire and pulled up Netflix; watched several episodes of Casper the friendly ghost.
Brushing teeth. Forlorn about bedtime.
Rhyla wants to look stylish, even for bed. Brushing her teeth while wearing her scarf and boots.
Vash is showing how many beads we were given at the Saint Patrick's Day parade in Pittsburgh. We kept yelling 'Beads, beads!' and we got a few tossed to us at random. But when I shouted beads and pointed at Rhyla, like they were for her, this guy came over and handed me about ten necklaces all at once!
Pink lemonade cupcakes. A meme for this would be, "Suck it, Pinterest!"
Punxsutawney Phil was in the parade! He's so cute in real life. Did you know that he's being sued for incorrectly predicting that Spring was coming early? How low can you go? Suing a groundhog.
Me and Becca, enjoying the parade.
This is Abraham Lincoln getting a clover painted on his cheek. You don't see that everyday.
Vash was mad about not catching the chocolate they threw so he refused to smile for a picture. But Rhyla, who remembered that I brought them cotton candy earlier, was all smiles.
And lastly, Rhyla was thrilled because we finally got her her own chair. A Minnie Mouse one. Vash has two little chairs, Lightning McQueen and Buzz and Woody, and he always looked so sad when Rhyla sat on one of them. Now the problem is solved. So... here's to writing every Sunday again!

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all!
